Everything You Need To Do Before The Next UFC Event

Action Plan

Below is a quick list of the 4 actions you should take prior to each UFC event. Below each action, you will find a few pointers to help you maximize your gym's value.

Resign Fighters

At the beginning of each month, you should review your fighters contracts to ensure none of your fighters hit free agency. Only fighters with a single fight remaining can be extended for a maximum of 3 additional fights. Fighters who are fighting their last fight on your contract will be highlighted in red on your gym page if they are fighting this month.

Sign Free Agents

Review the free agent list and put your money to work. Free agents can be signed to a maximum contract of 3 fights.

Free agnets that are fighting in the upcoming UFC event can be signed at a heavy discount to a 1 fight deal. Effectively, after the fight, your fighter will return to free agency, however you have a great opportunity to earn big money if your fighter wins their fight.

Place Your Bets

If you feel confident that your fighter is going to win their matchup, offer to bet pink slips on the fight. If your opponent agrees, the bet will be activated. The losing fighter will be forfeited to the winning fighters gym. The winning fighter's gym will assume whatever fights remain on the fighters contract. Note, that you cannot bet with a fighter that only has one fight remaining on their contract. You must extend the fighter before betting them

Cut Bad Contracts

When your roster is full, and you need to sign an up and coming free agent, you can opt to cut one of your fighters. Since you prepaid for each fight on your fighters contract when you signed them, you will essentially be losing their salary for each fight remaining on their contract. You will not be reimbursed for their remaining fights, so cut your fighters at your own peril.

Enjoy The Fights

The only thing better than watching someone get knocked the fuck out is when that fighter is on Speck's roster, and your fighter is the one throwing the vicious elbow.

The success of your fighters will determine the success of your fantasy career, so cheer them on and bring home a Championship!
